UCLA Design Media Arts Summer Institute 2022
I had the opportunity to study design at UCLA in the DMA summer program. I completed four classes: print, net, video, and worlds. I received two awards for my work and an official UCLA transcript for the classes. At UCLA, I was able to gain experience using Adobe software including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and PremierePro. Along with these programs, I also used Unity, Procreate, Hotglue, and others. Academy of Art University
During an online summer program with the Academy of Art University, I learned a lot about the principles and elements of design, and I also studied UX/UI. With this I created posters, digital wireframe prototypes, vector art, and other designs.
Design in School
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion in Design
As a queer individual with a passion for pursuing a career in both marketing and design, my goal is to make certain that all underrepresented communities have the opportunity to see themselves represented in media and on the business stage. On the left, take a look at a project from my high school design class centered around creating Starbucks holiday cups.
